Amanda Marlin

Founder & Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (M.OMSc)

Amanda is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner who graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (CAO) in 2019 with a Master in Practice diploma of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences. Her four-year education included over 1,000 hours of clinical training and extensive study of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and osteopathic principles. Her approach is grounded in classical osteopathy, with each treatment tailored to the individual and their needs at every visit.

Amanda is a member in good standing of Osteopathy Canada (OSTCAN).

Her practice focuses on women’s health and paediatric care, including prenatal and postpartum patients, infants and children. She has completed several paediatric continuing education courses, as well as a 10-month apprenticeship focused on treating babies in 2024.

With a lifelong interest in health, movement, and the human body, Amanda was drawn to osteopathy through her own experience receiving treatment. She believes in treating the person as a whole, considering how the body’s structures and systems work together rather than focusing solely on an area of discomfort. She brings this perspective to each treatment, along with a deep respect for the body’s innate capacity to heal.

Outside of her practice, Amanda values connection, time in nature, and an active, balanced lifestyle. She enjoys life’s simple pleasures, exploring new places and opportunities to learn and challenge herself.
