About Osteopathy
A whole-body approach to care
Osteopathy is a hands-on form of manual therapy that considers how the body’s structures work together. It takes a whole-person approach, looking beyond the area of discomfort to understand how movement and restrictions elsewhere may contribute to your concerns.
Osteopathic care is guided by the principles that the body functions as an interconnected unit, that structure and function influence one another, and that the body has an inherent capacity for self-regulation and healing.
An individual approach to treatment
Through manual assessment, an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner considers how your joints, muscles, fascia, ligaments and other connective tissues work together. Amanda uses hands-on techniques to address restrictions, encourage more comfortable movement and support the body’s overall function. Each treatment considers the body as a whole and is tailored to the patient’s age, health history, needs and comfort, with ongoing assessment guiding the approach.

Amanda offers individualized osteopathic care for infants, children and women, including during pregnancy and postpartum. Her approach considers the body as a whole, with treatment adapted to each patient’s needs and stage of life.
